  • Krishnamachar Sreenivasan received B.E degree (First Class) from University College of Engineering, Bangalore, M.Sc degree from Indian Institute of Science and Ph. D degree from University of Pennsylvania.

    His work on Workload Characterization, Multiprocessor Performance, and Heat Transfer, Energy Conversion, and Fluid Mechanics has appeared in International Journals. His employers include Indian Institute of Science, University of Pennsylvania, The Mitre Corporation, SRI International, Hewlett Packard Co.

    His current research interests include Cloud computing performance, Computer Architecture, Computer Education and stochastic equations to study clop flow.

    He is a referee for Comm. ACM, contributor to the ACM reviews, reviewer for the Army Basic Research Institute, Instructor for the US Peace Corps, Panelist at the National Computer Conference, Adjunct Professor at Boston University, San Jose State University, and Santa Clara University, Panelist at the Hot Interconnect conferences, presenter at a Cloud Workshop at IIT, Bombay and an International Conference On Cloud Computing in Malaysia. He is a Professor at the Northwestern Polytechnic University and is on leave and is currently a visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology.

    He is a Red Cross Disaster Recovery volunteer in the Bay Area and hosts a weekly public service radio program helping Senior Citizens.
