• Awards Nomination date extended to February 1, 2013

    The aim of the awards is to felicitate and acknowledge unique and innovative initiatives in the field of education in Punjab. The Shiksha Ratna Awards, Punjab have been constituted to honour the work of the schools, Higher education institutions as well as corporates who have transformed the dynamics of education in Punjab. The awards would be given away during the State Education Summit to be held between 7th and 8th February, 2013 at Hometel, Chandigarh, India.

    In case of payment through cheque/demand draft(DD) –
    Before filing the registration form you need to have the scanned copy of Cheque or DD, which needs to be uploaded for successful submission of the form.

    The Cheque or DD needs to be made in the favor of “Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd.” payable at New Delhi.

    4. Best Innovation by Engineering Institute

    Selection Procedure

    The selection procedure for award nomination is sequential.

    • The application will be first nominated through an online form
    • The application will be verified and reviewed by a team of experts. Any additional information, if required, will be asked for.
    • The application will be evaluated according to points assigned to each category
    • The project will be evaluated by an independent set of jury members
    • Winners will be announced at the Conference venue

    Important Information

    • All nominations must be submitted by 25th January 2013 to be considered for the Award.
    • The Finalist will be announced and felicitated at the State Education Summit 2013 Punjab on 7-8 February 2013 at Hometel, Chandigarh, Punjab
    • It is expected that some of the innovative practices/nominations will be documented and placed in the monthly print magazines: eGov, Digital Learning, and eHealth.
    • State Education Summit organisers reserve the right to use all or part of any material projects/programmes, photographs, submissions or any details) generated for the purpose of this Award for any publicity campaign related to best practices in education
    • Organisers reserve the right not to make an award in case the nominations received are not found fit enough in terms of quality and quantity.
    • The Organisers may also nominate projects in special category that it feels should be in the consideration set.
    • Oragnisers reserve the right to declare the final winner
    • Applicants are eligible to win only one award at the State Education Summit Punjab.


    • In case of a tie, the organisers reserve the right to decide the winner.
    • Any dispute will be settled under the jurisdiction of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
